This is a very exciting academic year for us at Eastside, as we are busy preparing for our 30th Anniversary celebrations. The festivities will begin in November, with a special free exhibition at Shoreditch Library, celebrating our work over the last 30 years. We will be sure to keep you all updated.
Website Refresh
Over the summer we’ve been busy working on updating our website with a fresh look and feel, ready for the Autumn Term. We’re excited to announce that our new site is now live!

Black History Month
Celebrate Black History Month with us this October with our creative workshops designed for you and your students to celebrate black history and culture. All workshops are led by our expert facilitators and build key academic and personal skills including confidence, vocabulary, and speaking & listening.

This term, we’re hosting Free Creative Livestream Festivals for Primary Schools, around the theme ‘Celebrating Diversity’.

Film and Digital Opportunities
BFI Film Academy
Calling all aspiring filmmakers! We’re looking for young people aged 16-19 with a passion for Film & TV, who are interested in pursuing a career in the film or television industries and looking to learn from industry professionals. We can offer you a brilliant free course to hone your skills!

We are seeking scripts from young writers (aged 18-30) for Eastside’s 13th BFI Film Academy, around the theme Milestones, which was selected to resonate with our 30th anniversary.

Hire a desk at Eastside
Looking for a new workspace for you and your colleagues? We have nine desks available to lease, and we are looking to welcome one or multiple companies into our office space in the coming months.
All profits from our desk hires go towards funding the core work of our charity, which delivers vital creative programme opportunities to underserved children and young people across the country.
