April Foolery
Two weeks ago, we hosted April Foolery, our annual fundraising event in the West End. It was a wonderful evening of stand up comedy and poetry in London’s glittering Criterion Theatre.
Stars of the UK’s stand up comedy scene took to the stage, including Simon Brodkin, Laura Smyth, Kae Kurd, Cecily Hitchcock, Mitch Benn, Justin Coe, Ken Cheng and Ola Labib and hosted by long-time friend of Eastside, Hugh Dennis.
Overall this year, April Foolery 2025 raised £20,662, bringing our grand total raised through April Foolery since 2022 to £107,275. This is wonderful news!
We are so grateful for your ongoing support to Eastside and our vital creative education programmes. Thanks to your help, we will be able to continue to support the UK’s most underserved children and young people, providing them with access to life-changing arts learning opportunities.
We now have our sights set on our next milestone of £150,000 as we work towards our overall goal of raising £1million through this initiative by 2030.
