We’re looking for artists who:
- Are experienced spoken word poets and creative facilitators.
- Have experience delivering engaging workshops for children and young people in primary, secondary and/or SEND schools, or alternative provision
- Can confidently adapt to different learning needs, classroom environments and abilities.
- Are passionate about using spoken word and performance to build confidence, creativity and self-expression in children and young people.
- Are organised, reliable and able to work independently.
- Are friendly and professional, and able to represent Eastside positively whilst delivering on creative projects.
- Desirable: Have lived / worked in any of the following boroughs: Barnet, Brent, Camden, Ealing, Hammersmith & Fulham, Harrow, Kensington & Chelsea, and the Cities of London and Westminster as well as East London boroughs.
We offer:
- £250 per full-day workshop and £170 per half-day workshop.
- Paid facilitator training for our programmes.
- Opportunities to work with schools and young people across London.
- Ongoing professional development and opportunities to collaborate with other Eastside artists.
