females in film

supporting the next generation of female filmmakers

Are you a woman* curious about the film industry and roles within it? Do you want to hear from people working in the industry about their journey? Are you just starting out? Or have you started making films but want to gain from others experiences?

Come to Eastside for Females in Film - a week-long series of workshops, talks and panel discussions with industry professionals which aims to give you a taste of different roles and the opportunity to meet women working in the field. You will have the chance to get hands on with industry-level professional cameras and lights, learn how an editor works, try your hand at writing a film script and lots more.

What’s the catch?

No catch, you just need to be aged 17 to 24 and interested in filmmaking. This course is designed for those who are taking their first steps into the industry who would benefit from hearing about the range of roles available, or those who have already started but want the chance to gain experience and network with other women in TV and Film.

When?

Workshops are taking place 22nd - 26th July 2019 (10am - 5pm)

Where?

Eastside HQ (in Shoreditch, E2 7NX)
