jj foundation UK photography awards for young people 2017

winners announced

The UK Photography Awards for Young People was recently launched in partnership with our friends over at jj Media. The competition asked students to enter maximum of three digital images within any of the following categories: portrait, landscape, street photography, still life/art and fashion.

There were some incredible entries, and the winning images are now available to look at on the jj Foundation winners gallery.

This award has been created by the jj Foundation, established by our Shoreditch neighbours jj Media as a way to centralise the company's charitable efforts. The foundation aims to inspire, support and motivate young photographers and filmmakers in the pursuit of their creative goals and careers, and we are very pleased to be partnering them on this project.

The competition may be over but you can still take great photos - why not tweet them to us @EastsideLondon. We have created some teacher resource packs to help inspire you and your students to take the best photographs possible in each category.
