3 Nigels give us a cheer (©Alex Brenner 2017)Eastside is really pleased to announce that we will continue to be a National Portfolio Organisation, as announced on 27th June by Arts Council England. Matt Lane, Chief Executive Officer and Artistic Director, writes: "We are sincerely grateful to the Arts Council England for continuing to invest in our work for the period 2018-2022. This is a particularly exciting time for Eastside in its 23 year history as we develop an exciting new strategy for our organisation, transform our building in Shoreditch, launch new programmes with new partners and extend existing programmes of work."

In June we not only had confirmation of this ongoing funding but also confirmation of the funding for the next round of Verse vs Verse and the BFI Film Academy.  June also saw the launch the first year of our new Eastside Partner Schools programme plus the recruitment of our pioneering A Summer in Film courses. Confirmation of these funding streams, new programmes and the enthusiastic response to the programmes from the students are all welcome confirmations of the work we put into developing and delivering our programmes and the trust placed in us by our funders and supporters. Together with our partners, funders, friends and creative team we will ensure that we continue to unlock the potential of children and young people across London and beyond so that they can become the problem solvers of tomorrow.

Full information on these programmes can be found below:
