I hope you are all doing well and enjoying the arrival of Spring.
We are so pleased to be working with schools once again and sending our talented artists and practitioner teams to deliver much needed creative activities for teachers and students across London and beyond.
Throughout this pandemic, we have been working hard to find new ways of inspiring teachers and empowering young people to unlock their creative potential in these most challenging times. As part of that work, we are excited to be launching Eastside Online, a new online service free to teachers and schools across the UK (and beyond).
Our first season of work, entitled Creative Minds explores mental health and wellbeing for primary and secondary schools and is available online until 28th May, so please do encourage your schools to sign up straight away!
Watch our trailer here to get a taster of the resources available, or browse the full programme and sign up for free here. Please do share with any schools contacts that you have – we are keen to spread as much joy as we can!
We are now looking to grow our team to help us deliver our programmes and seek a new Schools Engagement Coordinator – please share the details widely with your networks
We are also so happy to see our work with the residents of Shoreditch and Hoxton celebrated on the Shoreditch Digital Canvas in Old Street. Read all about it here.
Finally, we say CONGRATULATIONS to our 10 talented Females in Film mentees who showcased their work at a special online event last week, having spent 5 months working closely with Eastside mentors as part of our Females in Film mentoring programme generously supported by Adobe. We look forward to seeing your careers flourish.
Sincere thanks to all of our funders, supporters, donors, volunteers and dedicated staff teams – we couldn’t do any of this without your belief in Eastside. If you would like to support us in any way please get in touch.
