East-Side has more than 250 freelance facilitators on its books, all of whom are experienced and influential arts practitioners including writers, actors, comedians, performers, singers, dancers, musicians, composers, directors, choreographers, visual artists and film-makers.

East-Side is committed to providing young people with direct access to artists and creative practitioners and actively seeks to recruit practitioners who have a genuine interest and commitment to working with young people and who wish to use their professional skills to motivate and inspire the next generation. East-Side's artists and facilitators reflect the wide variety of ethnic origins, religions and social backgrounds that participants in our projects come from. East-Side celebrates artistic and cultural diversity in every form recognising that the dialogue between creative practitioners and the young people they are working with results in fresh inspiration for students and facilitators alike. East-Side aims to provide a safe and supportive environment for young people to experience the arts in and a vibrant and creative learning community for the facilitators within which to develop their arts teaching and facilitation practice.
East-Side offers a programme of creative seminars and workshops for facilitators and creative practitioners which support the development of facilitation skills but also give an insight into educational policy and practice as well as offering a series of creative skills and art form development workshops.
