INTERNSHIPS
East-Side is developing a series of internships giving interns an insight into the position of our individual art form officers. We are currently able to offer two internships at any one time and internships last for approximately 8 weeks. We work with universities to source our interns but individuals are also able to apply to us directly.
Please contact us if you would like to apply for an internship clearly stating which department you would be interested in working in, when you would be interested in taking part in an internship and why you are interested in pursuing an internship at East-Side Educational Trust.

"Interning with East Side Educational Trust for the semester was the opportunity of a lifetime. Coming to London for the first time from the United States, it was a wonderful way to experience the city and to learn about arts and education in the area.
East Side is a charity organization that helps to make the arts available to schools by supplying workshops and artists throughout the school year and by assisting teachers to incorporate the arts into their curriculum. While my focus is primarily in dramatic arts I had the chance to see all sides of the organization working with literature and visual arts as well as drama. East Side allowed me the chance to go into schools in order to observe and assist within the classroom. Not only did I work in the classroom, but in the office as well, learning how workshops are set up and artists assigned to projects. It was extremely beneficial for me to understand this process to see how the organization works as a whole.
I believe that East Side is a unique organization that is an extremely valuable resource for teachers and students within the London area. It has inspired me for my future endeavors to work towards making the arts a more prominent part of the educational system in the United States."
