Goldsmiths' Company
The Worshipful Company of Goldsmiths, more commonly known as the Goldsmiths' Company, is one of the twelve Great Livery Companies of the City of London and received its first royal charter in 1327. The Goldsmiths' Company has continuously supported charitable work in education since the sixteenth century and today sponsors a number of educational initiatives. These are directed towards primary and secondary education, science, and literacy and numeracy programmes.
