Writers in Residence

This is an opportunity to host a writer - many schools and community centres invite writers to work with their young people. You could host a creative writer, poet, journalist, or playwright, you might also like to commission the writer to create a piece of work about your school. Eastside can help you choose the most appropriate writer for your group, plan the residency and oversee any staff training, development and follow-on activities as appropriate, to ensure you gain the most from your writer’s residency. Residencies can vary in length.
