Visual art and poetry explores photography, painting and drawing as inspiration for word-play! This workshop will explore the relationship between words and images, discovering new ways to tap into and inspire the creative processes behind poetry-writing and art. Using a well-known work of art as a starting point, you will create your own poems and creative monologues inspired by the images that you see and your interpretation of what they mean. Reversing the process you will also create large-scale pieces of visual art inspired by the words and imagery in well-known poetry.
