Urban Rhythms

This project will give you the chance to voice your opinions as you write and perform your own poetry and rap. In live literature, as much emphasis is placed on performance as on writing and these workshops give you a chance to try both. You will be able to experiment with form and rhythm as well as visiting poetry gigs, literary festivals or speakers corner. You will also be able to see the work of other spoken word artists and develop your own performance persona.
