Eastside runs a number of Shakespeare projects to prepare students for SATs and GCSE’s as well as offering introductory projects to Shakespeare’s plays and poetry. Our approach lifts the bard off the page and students are able to experience the themes and characters for themselves through drama activities led by experienced Shakespearian actors. This workshop can also include an accompanying theatre trip to see the play being studied, performed professionally and an analysis of the production after the show.
