Script Work

This workshop will introduce you to contemporary stagecraft on a practical level and will cover key issues in theatre and performance including the art of reading and analysing texts and plays. Scripts to be studied may include plays from different periods of theatre history or may compare stage plays with film and TV scripts. You will learn about the role of the author, characters and plot lines, stage direction, performing multiple roles and rehearsed readings.
