Review Writing - Play the Critic

Play the Critic is our review writing workshop for Sixth Form students or those taking Theatre Studies or Drama to help develop critical thinking and writing skills. This workshop will teach you how to write theatre reviews, under the guidance of professional theatre critics. Critics will discuss the basic principles of analysing plays and writing reviews and a theatre director will help you to deconstruct the creative process. After you have seen a show and written your own review, a writer will lead a practical workshop to help you hone your reviewing skills and the professional critics will provide feedback.
