quiltmakingQuilt Making / Storytelling Quilt

Patchwork or embroidery is often used in the manufacture of quilts when separate pieces of cloth are sewn together. Materials can include leather, linen, lace, suede and wool or recycled materials and fabrics. The beauty of quilts can be further embellished by using sequins, feathers, buttons and crystals to personalise each individual square. You will make an individual quilt or work with others to produce a group patchwork quilt to share.
