This is a lively and energetic percussion workshop which will introduce you to African rhythms and culture. Participants will learn the traditional hand drumming techniques and how to play Djembe, Sabar, and Kpanlogo drums. African drumming is fun, energising and inspirational to people of different ages, backgrounds and abilities and is an art form that particularly appeals to boys. African beats and rhythms will focus ear, eye and hand co-ordination as well as improving concentration and musical appreciation.
