Media Mania is a workshop to help aspiring young writers to develop a range of journalistic skills, including analysis, web-based research, story development and writing skills. You will consider the relevance of print and online media and will work towards producing an edition of your own magazine or rebranding your school newsletter. Experience first-hand the hustle and bustle of a busy newsroom as you work against the clock to meet your deadline. Professional writers and journalists will work with you to help you develop storylines, set up interviews and to advise on editing and layout.
