Kite Making

Make your own colourful kite which stands out from the rest when you fly it on a windy day. Kite making is a great way to work with a variety of materials but you will also learn about geometry and get better at measuring. You can experiment with materials and figure out which shapes fly best and you can get really imaginative and explore kites from different cultures such as Chinese dragon kites or create your own characters. Finally after all that hard work, you can have a go flying your kite.
