The genre combines using comic-strip format to tell a story through sequential art and this workshop is perfect for developing a broad range of skills. Thought balloons, dialogue and captions form the core of a graphic novel although some graphic novels contain no words at all, despite having lengthier and more complex storylines and can be used for memoir and reportage too. This workshop will show you how to design and create your own graphic novel including style, characters, storylines, inking, lettering, colouring and publishing.
