Finger Puppets and Hand Puppets

Finger puppets are quick and easy to make and are ideal when time is short. Although simply constructed, finger puppets are an effective way of creating characters and telling stories. Hand puppets are slightly more advanced and include mitten puppets (those with a moveable mouth) and glove puppets (those with moving arms). Mitten puppets are easily made using a sock as the basic material and old gloves, painted or with buttons sewn on as eyes can be turned into fun glove puppets.
