Famous Speeches

The art of public speaking was first developed by the ancient Greeks but it is still an extremely important skill and crucial to success in politics and in articulating your views.  The best speeches are rousing, motivational, inspiring and persuasive. You will research and study selected famous speeches from historical figures, world leaders and great orators to analyse exactly what makes them great, famous or memorable. You will then be challenged to use those elements to write a great speech for the twenty-first century and deliver your speech to an audience.
