Community Theatre

This workshop will provide participants with the experience of engaging in devised/collaborative theatre making within a community setting and with a local focus. The workshop will explore how to tell the story of a community or group of people through a range of disciplines including: improvisational drama, forum theatre and physical storytelling. Local history, research, interviews and vox pops will become the basis for group-based approaches to devising and/or text-based theatre production culminating in a shared or public performance.
