Breakdance (or B-Boying) is an athletic and acrobatic style of dancing, which can often appear to defy the laws of physics! It combines spinning on the knees, head, hands, elbows and back, body popping, locking, creating ‘windmills’ with the legs and using mock fighting moves. You will be given an introduction to how various moves are used in performance and in music videos and will then be able to safely put together your own routines for a performance or dance-off at the end of the workshop.
