We have over 20 years experience running educational workshops that can complement and enrich the curriculum within school time or run as after school clubs. Every project is created bespoke and is available in a range of different and flexible formats. Not only do our projects engage and educate children through direct participation in the arts, we also use the arts to make subjects such as English, science, history, maths, citizenship and modern foreign languages seem more relevant, appealing and... fun! They are all created by our experienced facilitators to the brief that we send out based on conversations we have with you, the teachers. Here are some questions we are commonly asked.
We respond to whatever your aims and objectives are, whether that be a theme, the acquisition of soft skills, a focus on a particular art practice or just wanting your pupils to get creative. Don’t know what you want? Then give us a call for a free consultation and we can talk you through suggestions across the diverse artforms.
All of our facilitators are working creative professionals, be they poets, actors, writers, visual artists, musicians, photographers, dancers, directors or… clowns! They are all DBS checked, fully insured, have been trained by Eastside and are experienced at delivering workshops in a school setting.
Projects can vary in length from one-hour creative taster sessions to week-long workshops, continuous programmes and residencies, either in term time weekdays or during the weekends and holidays. We can tailor them to fit your timetable and budget.
Many schools book us up months in advance, however we appreciate that isn’t always possible. We usually require a minimum of two weeks notice, though the longer the project the more planning time we will need.
All our workshops and projects are created bespoke and tailored to the needs of the group, and costings will take into account the duration of the project and any resources needed. Please don’t hesitate to contact the team to discuss your ideas and get a quote with your budget in mind. You’re not obliged to pay anything until the project is fully confirmed.
If you email us, you'll need to let us know a contact phone number, the best time to call, school location, the themes or artform, information about the young people taking part and any particular requirements in terms of outputs or outcomes. Or you can use our booking enquiry tool or call us on 020 7033 2380.
