london's biggest choice of creativity and culture

Eastside Educational Trust has an extensive Project Portfolio which includes more than 150 high-quality creative learning projects all of which are available for schools and youth groups to choose from. Our workshops cover the entire spectrum of the creative arts including; drama and performance, dance and movement, literature and spoken word, visual arts and crafts, music and singing and film and media. Not only do our projects engage and educate children through direct participation in the arts, we also use the arts to make subjects such as English, science, history, maths, citizenship and modern foreign languages seem more relevant, appealing and... fun!

Every project that we run is unique and is available in a range of different and flexible formats. Projects can vary in length from one-hour creative taster sessions to week-long workshops or continuous programmes. Workshop sessions can be delivered intensively in school time or as after school clubs throughout a school term. We also run weekend workshops and projects during the school holidays. If you require a bespoke activity, we can tailor-make individual arts projects to fulfil your specific needs.

Eastside also provide a free consultation service to help schools select the most appropriate workshop for their needs and we can be commissioned to conduct youth consultations, arts related research and independent evaluations or to produce public events, festival activities and youth performances. We also provide INSETS and CPD training for arts practitioners, teachers and volunteers.

Eastside's projects give young people the opportunity to learn from experienced practicing artists. We believe that this gives young people a unique insight into the artform they are exploring but also gives them the confidence to learn in new ways and explore their creativity. Eastside ensures that all our freelance artists have valid CRB Enhanced Disclosures and have received safeguarding training. We also hold public liability insurance which covers our freelance artists working in schools.
