Wouldn't it be funny

if food went strange and took on a life of its own?

If food had more character, shopping could be great

and the fridge would never feel alone.

Wouldn't it be funny if rice went "Aaaah!"

and ice cream said "Yahoo!"

Wouldn't it be wicked if mustard popped and broccoli danced round the loo.

Wouldn't it be vicious if burgers went WHAM in your face and chips went SMACK

Couldn't it be scary if your toast kick boxed and fish fingers stabbed you back

What a spooky nightmare if chicken went MOO in the oven while cooking away

The spuds could sing as the peas went ZING! while the gravy burped "Hooray!"

Wouldn't it be different if bananas cracked and eggs got peeled instead

wouldn't it be crazy if jelly wouldn't wobble and then sulked off to bed

what if our couscous had a great big nose and sniffed at lamb and veg

what if the cake rolled up to the window, screamed "No!", then jumped off the ledge

wouldn't it be freaky if a lemon laughed and a kebab rapped like Eminem

shopping could be fab but a little strange... Oh my god, my egg laid a hen!
