acting for camera
Led by professional actors and using broadcast quality cameras, our Acting for Camera workshop will introduce you to the different acting styles used in film and on television. You will work with film scripts and devise short scenes as well as learning about interview techniques and live presenting, as you experience acting in front of the camera and see yourself appear on screen. Unlike theatre, acting for camera relies on subtle reactions and small controlled gestures. This workshop culminates with viewing back the rushes and a critique of your acting skills, from the director.
Project suitable for:
ks3 (11 - 14), ks4 (14 - 16), teenage, young adult
