work experience opportunities available at eastside
educational trust hosts work experience placements for; Year 10 students, college graduates, university students and those
doing courses that require experience of alternative educational settings. If you are looking for a
chance to gain an insight into the workings of a vibrant arts education charity,
to visit a variety of youth arts projects and to learn about arts administration and project management, then Eastside is the right place for you!
Our only requirements are; that you have a passion for the arts, that you are keen to get involved with our work and that you are able to travel to our London offices in Shoreditch E2 for the duration of your placement, as well as accompanying our Arts Officers on visits to various projects in all parts of London. We can offer work experience placements, for up to two weeks at any
time throughout the year, but we can only offer work experience
placements to one student at a time. If you are a student and
would like to do a work experience placement with us as part of your
school’s
requirements you can either get in touch with us directly or ask the
Work Experience Co-ordinator at your school to contact us, giving us as
much notice as possible.
We do our very best to
ensure that our placements provide an interesting and rounded
experience and where possible, tailor them in-part to suit each
individual's skills and interests. We try to include a number of
different types of our
activities within the placement and are always open to suggestions from
our
