Hello - I'm Rex Hall; I worked with Eastside for some years before becoming a trustee; it is an organisation that delivers high quality programmes using very professional staff. It is not just the quality of the work that has impressed me but also what the individual gains from their connection with Eastside in terms of self esteem, belief and confidence, I have witnessed some remarkable results and all of the charity’s many and varied supporters and funders know that Eastside delivers results. I am an education consultant and have worked in education for over thirty years; I am now working with Eastside’s directors, using their knowledge and skills to move into new areas linking the Performing Arts to raising standards and educational achievement. I believe that Eastside’s consultancy and advocacy for arts based learning is just as important as the work they do directly with children and young people.
Rex Hall was awarded an MBE in 2003 for services to Study Support and Playing For Success.
