Welcome to Eastside's new website!

Welcome to Eastside's new-look design and our new interactive website, in preparation for our sixteenth birthday in 2010. Our website has been redesigned to make it more user-friendly and accessible to the young people we work with, our friends, project partners and supporters. So please take a look and tell us what you think. You can comment straight into this news blog.

Our website will give you an opportunity to learn more about all our projects and the inspiration behind them, we hope you enjoy browsing our project pages and if you were involved in any of our projects in the past, we would love to hear your thoughts and memories. Our workshops pages will support teachers to put the fun back into learning by linking the arts and education and as a special treat for the teachers we have some very special booking offers. As you look through our website you might be inspired by the photographs of some of our projects; these were taken as part of a photographic mentorship with some of London’s aspiring photographers who were mentored by photographer Paul King who chairs the Association of Photographers.

The cultural calendar on our website will give you a chance to find out what workshops, exhibitions and performances we are running and also find out more about arts and cultural events in and around London. You can also become a fan of our Facebook page and follow us on Twitter. Finally, a sixteenth birthday wouldn’t be complete with lots of fun goodies and we are launching an online charity auction where you can bid for some unique experiences, amazing items and rare memorabilia. All the money raised will go directly to support Eastside Educational Trust's work with children and young people.
