Tickets now available for Eastside's West End Gala

Book your tickets now to enjoy a spectacular performance of unforgettable entertainment, live on stage at The Criterion Theatre in Piccadilly Circus on Saturday 7th November, 2009. (Curtain up at 11.30am, show will finish at 1pm). Up to 100 young people will take to the stage in an exclusive celebration of youth arts as they perform a showcase of popular hit songs from West End favourites such as Oliver!, Blood Brothers, The Lion King and Mamma Mia!

The stars of Eastside's youth theatre will enjoy the rare opportunity to perform in the heart of the West End at our Performance Showcase, which is the culmination of a year-long theatre training for young people in Hackney, Westminster, Newham and Redbridge. The Interact performers will be joined on stage by young dancers from HIAA (Hackney Impact Arts Academy) who recently gained their silver Arts Awards and who were also commissioned to perform at Tower Bridge as part of London's Black History Month celebrations in October. The performance showcase will be hosted by actor and director Samuel West and actress Samantha Bond, both patrons of Eastside who will introduce the young performers and present them with certificates of achievement.
