educational trust offers a number of internships each year to students at college or
university as well as to community volunteers and trainee teachers. We also run an international internship programme with students from abroad. Eastside’s interns
gain many exclusive insights into the operation of a major arts and education charity and work alongside our art-form officers and directors. We also offer specialist placements such as our
Eastside Library internships and our
Press and Marketing internships, where interns can
be mentored by leading professionals from major city firms and PR companies such as; UBS, Linklaters, PricewaterhouseCoopers, Exposure and Colman Getty.
arts admin interns
Eastside's Arts Admin interns experience the
arts administration and project management processes behind all of our creative workshops. Based in Eastside's Shoreditch office, Arts Admin interns assist our Art-form Officers with
the running of our flagship projects, providing support in recruitment, project management and evaluation as well as visiting our projects all across London.
press & marketing interns
Eastside's press and marketing internships are open to students with experience
and interest in PR, offering an opportunity to help develop our media and
marketing strategy under the guidance of a professional in the public relations field.
Media and marketing executives from firms such as: Exposure, UBS and Colman Getty have been working with our interns to share their expertise and skills and to help raise Eastside's media profile.

library interns
Eastside's library interns assist with the upkeep and running of our arts library, including acquisitions, cataloguing, bibliography, compiling book collections, updating online listings and reviews, ensuring the library is stocked with
up to date literature and making recommendations related to buying new materials from
publishers, wholesalers, and distributors. Our library interns will also organise books by their subject matters and write descriptions so that they can be
easily located. Suitable for book lovers and librarians.
research and listings interns
Eastside's research and listings interns are mainly responsible for updating our cultural calendar which is an online resource listing a varied range of arts events, festivals and educational initiatives that happen annually in and around London. The role involves researching events, contacting the event organisers and updating the dates annually. Other research projects are also available at various times throughout the year.
international interns
Eastside has links with universities

Our Intern placements are unpaid but we might be able to cover your travel expenses. Internships vary in length and last anywhere from six weeks to six months depending upon your availability.
