America and Britain

Now America and Britain think they’ve got it all figured out;

with their satellite and radar systems on the go,

but let me give you something to think about.

What will you do,

when the ozone layer can’t be found

and the earth stops spinning around

and this time the air makes a sound?

What will you do,

when the ice caps melt?

Run for cover?

Waiting for Mother?

But Mother Nature won’t kick in to save you

so you have to make do

with your electric toys against the rain.

But every price we have to pay.

You hear of all these people,

pouring their lotions and potions into the sea;

"What’s all the commotion? " you say, but I don’t see the confusion

cos what you do will only escalate to a later date

to close the gate on our entire nation.

Now America and Britain think they’re funny;

boasting about all their money,

with their cars, films and video games,

but let me give you something to think about.

Everywhere you look in Africa there’s a drought;

and money’s nothing compared to your dollar and pound

while people there are all skin and bone.

But hey, while you’re talking away on your telephone,

the babies die of starvation.

If not, they work on your plantation

America and Britain do love war;

but to cover up, they say they protect the poor,

but let me give you something to think about

Now tell me, what was the World War about?

You firing your guns away making the land fade away.

Just for your silly games you’re going to make us all pay

Now tell me,
