summer projects

summer projectsThis Summer Term Eastside has some great project ideas to help spark the creativity in your students. All of our workshops are created bespoke but these are some of our most popular artforms and ideas at this time of year. To discuss how we can tailor these to any themes that you want to explore, then call the team on 020 7033 2380 for a free consultation.

Art Weeks

Why not liven up the summer term with some creative making? Eastside’s fantastic team of artists are on hand to take your school’s arts projects to the next level. We can focus on a specific theme or artform, ranging from origami to lantern making through print and felt making and beyond!

Some previous favourites have included exploring artforms and cultural traditions of different countries and continents, exploring identity in and creating an underwater world with large scale fish lanterns.

Dance Tasters

Get your students moving this term with Eastside’s multi-talented dancers. From ballet to street dance, Capoeira to hip-hop, we’ve got all styles covered. Whether you go for one day of high-octane workshops, or extra-curricular clubs over a term or half term, dance can be a fantastic way for students to explore culture, self expression, team-work and self-discipline, all while having fun and getting fit!

Perhaps spoken word poetry, singing or junk percussion are more up your street? Get in touch with our team and we can craft a bespoke workshop as part of your end of year activities. You can find more information about all the projects we have previously run and can adapt to your needs on our schools workshops pages.
