Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service 2010
The Queen's Award for Voluntary Service is a UK National Honour that was created by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II to mark the Golden Jubilee in 2002 and is the highest award given to volunteer groups across the UK for outstanding work done in their local communities.
Eastside was also honoured to receive an invitation to attend a Royal Garden Party at Buckingham Palace which was hosted by Her Majesty The Queen, The Duke of Edinburgh, The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall.
