Prince of Wales Arts & Kids Foundation Award 2005
Eastside Educational Trust and The Cartoon Network, working in partnership in 2005, were joint recipients of the Prince of Wales Arts & Kids Foundation Award for our drama and animation project ArtWorks. The award was presented to Eastside by His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales in recognition of our contribution to the One Million Kids Challenge which wasestablished by the Prince of Wales' Arts & Kids Foundation to engage one million young people in the arts and to use the power of the arts to transform young lives. ArtWorks was commissioned by The Prince's Foundation for Children and the Arts (formerly Arts & Kids) to link the worlds of business, arts and education and to help children to experience the arts in a high quality way.
