Guinness World Records 2003 - The longest reading aloud marathon
Eastside Educational Trust's second Guinness World Record started on 17th August 2003 and ended 72 hours and 19 minutes later on 20th August 2003. During that time, the record for the longest reading aloud marathon was set by a team of 5 young people from the Wadhurst Youth Theatre in East Sussex who read the entire series of Harry Potter books non-stop. The young readers taking part were; Kitty McCarron, Rachel Muir, Jessica Hosmer Wright, Henry Nathan and David Barham.
