Arts Award Welcome Centre 2009
Eastside Educational Trust was commissioned by Arts Council England in 2005 to launch and establish the Arts Award in London. We were the first Regional Agency for the Arts Award in London (2005-2007) and in 2009 we were proud to become an official Arts Award Welcome centre.
Arts Award is a nationally recognised qualification that supports young people aged between 11 - 25 to develop as artists and arts leaders. Administered by Arts Council England and Trinity Guildhall, Arts Award is offered at three levels - bronze, silver and gold. The award is a personal learning programme that develops and assesses both arts-related skills (arts knowledge and understanding) and transferable skills (creativity, communication, planning and review, teamwork and leadership) and leads to qualifications at level 1, 2 and 3 of the national qualifications framework. |
